I've Been Tagged

Bethany over at Happy Life at Home has tagged me to list "six random things" about myself. Shall we see what I can come up with??!

1) I am among those who has never broken anything. Pulled/strained muscles and ligaments as well as smashed fingers are another story!

2) I played county soccer for several years. In the six seasons that we played, we made it to the championship each time; won four times and lost two times.

3) I am an only daughter, my mother was an only daughter, and my mother's-mother was an only daughter.

4) I always ask permission to lick my bowl of ice cream when I'm finished! I just can't let that good stuff go to waste!

5) I can hang a spoon off my nose... you can find several pictures here. I still can't believe Mother Dear posted them!

6) I have a really hard time staying indoors in the afternoons. Once two-o'clock rolls around I feel the need to be outside messing with the dogs, gardening, or doing something active. I'm still trying to figure out why I feel this way; maybe it goes back to when I got out of school around two and was allowed to play.

Here are the rules:
• Link to the person who tagged you.
• Post the rules on your blog.
• Write Six Random Things about yourself.
• “Tag” six-or-so other people at the bottom of your post
• Leave comments on their blogs, letting them know they’ve been tagged.
• Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve written the post.

I did the deed, Ashley, and I think I tended all the bits and pieces of the instructions.

It was interesting to read your own random bits. Just between you, me, and the www, we share that little ice cream bowl habit. *blush*

These were fun to read, Ashley! Thank you for sharing!

We have a few (more :) similarities in that I, too, have never broken a bone, and I also played soccer when I was younger (though we never made it to the championship :), and I love the outdoors!

Hanging a spoon off of the end of your nose? What talent! ;) That is one thing that I have never 'mastered'. ;)

Number three was an interesting fact! Did your mother have brothers?

Carolinenot~ Ahhh, I'm not the only one who licks the bowl! I take comfort in that! :o)

Sarah- YOU played soccer as well??????!!! What position did you play? I rotated from halfback to goalie quite often.

I shall teach you the "art" of hanging a spoon off your nose if you would like. It works best after you have finished a bowl of ice cream or chicken noodle soup.

Yes, my Mom had one brother and grandma had four (although Grandma did have a sister that died in birth).

I apologize for taking so long to reply to your comment, Ashley! I had planned to, but then completely forgot . . . sorry about that! :(

Yes, I did play soccer! For about six years, in fact. I cannot remember what positions I played; though, I do know that I did not play goalie! :)

(laughing) Teach me how to hang a spoon off the end of my nose?! Do you think I would have the talent for such a thing??!!! :D

Of course Sarah! Everyone has hidden talents that need bringing out! :o) Who knows, you might be better at hanging a spoon off of your nose than I am!
