Spring Time Quote

Sawyer and I took a little tramp around our "gardens" last Sunday afternoon, picking flowers to give to Momma. It was delightful outside with a light breeze blowing, the sun shining, and the flowers blooming!

Woodland Hyacinth

"It makes the heart swell with joy to see the buds and the flowers starting into life after long sleep.....

...and to hear the birds tune up once more at the opening of spring.

When Nature is trying to do her best in the way of growth, it is a real pleasure to take hold and help."

-The Old Farmer's Almanac, 1872

I like to meander around the place on Sundays picking some flowers for the house or my room. When I found this little tidbit from the Old Farmers Almanac (on my calendar!) I felt that it described how I feel during spring very well!!

Ashley,

What a lovely post! The photos are so gorgeous! Sawyer is a handsome, sweet, little gentlemen! I love his outfit! The picture of your Momma and him is so precious! The woodland hyacinth is so pretty! I enjoyed the quote from your Old Farmers Almanac calendar! Thank you for sharing your spring walk with me!

Oops, think your title is missing an E - you mean spring time not spring tim.

Anonymous,
Yes, I noticed several days ago that the "e" was missing, but each time I try to fix it blogger decides that it's time to "have issues". So, I'll go fix it now... since I'm on!!

Mrs. Paula,
Yes, Sawyers outfit is one of my favorite also!! He has a blue/light yellow/cream stripe top just like the one pictured that goes even better!! His pants are getting a little short these days which makes him look even cuter!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed our little walk!
